Inclusion of new steering components in a chassis for testing before a 10,000-mile test in France.

R4/M21/11/27 and ascertain whether R's decision to include these items in the chassis before it starts for 10,000 miles is likely still to give time for this chassis to be tested for 2500 miles before the date on which it is necessary for us to order material for the next series to enable the new steering to be incorporated in that Series if the test is successful. If necessary, we could discuss this at Derby on Thursday. I am anxious that this improvement shall be incorporated as soon as possible, but of course if it is impossible for it to be tested in time for the next series and R.{Sir Henry Royce} understands this position, it cannot be helped and it must be postponed until a later series.
