We have received from R.{Sir Henry Royce} a revised set of gaps and one or two modifications to the switch D.71810 and we now send you herewith blueprints of the new parts. Longer carbons are needed for the main switch and instead of waiting for these to come in we propose to use packing pieces D.71967. D.71971 - Main Armature Stop. D.71969 - Contact Strip. D.71968 - Spring Contact Assembly. D.71967 - Packing Strip (Carbon). D.71964 - Instructions for Setting Gaps. D.71966 - Distance Piece for Auxiliary Pole. D.71970 - Distance Piece, Main Contact. Will you please put 8 sets in hand so that the parts will be available if it is desired to modify the switches already built. When switches with these gaps are available the duplex starter switch recently instructed should be used. BY/RD. | ||
