Phantom III Brake Drums with Cast-in end plates
EXS.142/3. 144/5.

Will you please proceed no further with these brake drums. Now that testing on Phantom III has been stopped almost entirely the drums would be useless to us.

We are going to send RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/CAN. the drawings and ask for a price for them compared to present construction. If this shows an appreciable saving we will start again on Bentley III or Wraith. to make and test this type of drum, but if the cost saving is small we shall do nothing as the experimental work would not be paid for.
