CAV B2 Regulator.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your G/HP of the 22nd inst., the regulator we have is marked B2. H1.9499 12 volts.

This was obtained from Joseph Lucas Ltd., Acton Vale, under our order No.23953 of the 2nd. inst. In connection with our order we received a letter from them ref ATN/S/g of the 3rd. inst.

For your information we are merely testing this regulator along with several others of various makes with a suitable plain shunt dynamo and we cannot connect up until we are sure of the internal connection arrangements of your regulator.

The one we have has three wires coming out with no markings on them.

We are anxious to prove the merits of the regulator controlled dynamo as compared with the usual 3rd., brush machine.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
