X.3531/ 2.2.40 To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Extract from Hsl/LG7.2.21. X.3481. GOSHAWK 1 CAR. X.3531. We find that the lleather bushes used for supporting the Gosawhk radiator have compressed or worn, and the radiator is now resting on the cross member, When the car is driven over a bumy road, the radiator moves about. We suggest that these bushes should be made from non-hygroscopic material. We suggesy we try some self-lubricating bushes either made from lead alloy or bakelite, impregnated with graphite. They were using this material in the U.S.A. for spring bushes. R.R. 238A (100 T) (S.H. 788. 10-12-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2047 | ||
