BNG x4704 See my Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Vulture Petrol System Failure. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E19.3.34 Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/BWG.{J. C. Bowring}5/KW.16.3.34 I am very much interested to note the result of your investigation into the petrol trouble. I have made enquiries and find that no petrol other than Ethyl was put into the tank whilst we had it. It seems curious if Ethyl should have caused the formation of the white jelly substance you refer to as I believe some makers use it on their cars entirely, and additionally I believe that you have been using it almost entirely on the 100 mile an hour Bentley. Anyhow I note you are investigating the matter further and I shall be interested to hear what conclusions you come to. As I have not really had a proper trial of the Vulture car, I should like to have it again when you are satisfied that it is right. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
