EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} X7740. 17.1.28. CHASSIS DIST. BOARD WIRES 6 AND 8. We have examined the wires on some 20 HP. and Phantom chassis in the Test Dept. The wires are rather cramped for room where they come up to the fuse terminals (from the ammeter) and bend rather sharply over the edges of the ferrules. They would probably remain O.K. if left alone but they are frequently pulled about considerably by coachbuilders and in bad cases might fail eventually. The bottom wire on fuse 8 has no ferrule and is not usually touched by coachbuilders we understand. EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} /F.J.Allen. | ||
