S.W.11. MORGANITE TRADE MARK IN REPLY PLEASE REFER TO Z DEPT Zha/WH 18th February, 1930. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, X.8673- X.5670- Phantom II and 20 H.P. chassis dynamos. Replying to your letter of the 12th instant reference EFC2/AD concerning the brushes employed on the above dynamos, the natural graphite grades such as the Link 5 and Link HM{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}5 mentioned by you are likely to run more silently than the electrographitic type, but the latter have the advantage of being more robust. We see no objection to trials being made in Link 5 and Link HM{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}5 but think it advisable to mention that actually for automobile work we supply far more brushes in Link HM{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}6 than in either of these two qualities. We shall be very pleased to co-operate by sending trial supplies of any brushes you may decide to test, and awaiting your further instructions. We are, Yours faithfully, THE MORGAN CRUCIBLE COMPANY LIMITED per:- | ||
