(4). The lamp can be fitted in the centre in front of the car or on the near side but, in addition to being dipped, should be slightly slewed towards the near side. The amount of this slewing again can only be determined by experiment as it varies with different drivers.

If you have any difficulties whatsoever in fog when you have this lamp fitted up on a car, Mr. Tresilian will come up at any time convenient to you on hearing from you.

It was pointed out that the height of the lamp can be regulated to some extent by cutting the loose sleeve on the fork attachment to the height required but we have found, particularly on Rolls Royce cars, that there is little or no difficulty in arranging the lamp between the limits of height given in our Instruction Sheet, namely, 23/25" from ground level to centre of lens.
