Mr Sankey } for R Mr Huddlestone } Standard geared motor max Torque type prefered Could be a regularised type perhaps makes emergency & datasafe belt drive High speed v.{VIENNA} difficult motor of low first cost with good power factor small space & weight This shows an industrial, 3 phase motor with reduction gear. (or for crane work) The motor of small size run 6000 & flange @ 1500 (4 pole) The gear is internal & enclosed therefore silent & clean & lubricates & can be retro-driven (without motor kind) but to suit the existing Torque must be about 3.5:1 ratio [wonderfull good type! of gearing] a belt pulley, pinion or coupling can be on the countershaft.
