Dear Sir, With reference to your call in our Showroom concerning your Bentley car No. B.28.AH, we understand you have been in communication with our Works with a view to their increasing the performance of your car for entry in the Eastbourne Rally. We very much regret to inform you, however, that it is against our policy to fit anything on our chassis that is not standard, and you will understand that any alterations the Works could make could only be purely of an experimental nature. Therefore, as mentioned above, we could not agree. With renewed regrets. We are, dear Sir, Yours faithfully, For BENTLEY MOTORS (1931) LTD. Director. | ||
