X1280 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.20/KW. 15th October, 1935. Messrs. John Marston Ltd., Wolverhampton. For the attention of Mr. Southall. Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your telegram of to-day, and note that you have not received the Harrison radiator core mentioned in our letter Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.11/KW.27.9.35. We have made enquiries and regret to have to inform you that some confusion has occurred over this matter in our Shipping Department, with the result that the matrix core is still in our Stores. However, we are despatching the core to you to-day by Passenger Train, to minimise any further delay. We trust that you are urging the Phantom III radiator matrix (E.87003) in Mark VI Core which you are making for us, as we need this at the earliest possible moment. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
