will also enable him to produce the best and most efficient small 4-cylinder car at a commercial price.

It was suggested that if the manufacture of such a car did not entirely keep the Works full, attention might be later turned to the manufacture of other goods, such as Magnetos, Starters, etc., but it was pointed out that there would certainly be a disinclination on the part of our competitors in the motor trade to deal with us, just as we should be disinclined to purchase such goods if designed and made by Napier or Siddeleys and put them on our cars.

The Conference will be interested to learn Mr. Royce's views on this subject.
