600c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/R.28.3.39. Cast Iron Engine. It is not worth tackling the front end oil leaks until Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} has investigated the damper on the test bed, because it will take too long pulling the radiator on and off. We should like to - (1) Compare consumption with a Wraith, both carbs. having similar induction systems. (2) Compare oil temperature with a Wraith on a fast stretch. (3) Investigate periods reported by Dixon. (4) Compare top water temperature with standard Wraith Thermostat removed. (5) Develop single exhaust system with reasonable power loss. (6) Try engine smoothness with 8-cyl. engine mounting. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
