I believe both the method of carrying the pressure plate and the resilient finger levers would be patentable, especia-lly the pressure plate mounting, which differs essentially from a corrugated diaphragm in that the outer radius of the driving plates is free to move radially, and consequently, both the stress and the load due to deflection can be kept low, and at the same time the pressure plate is definitely located radially.
