STEADMAN To. By and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}....from RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/MD.15.10.38. 1264- W.R./STD WATER PUMP - WRAITH. With reference to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.8/JH.12.10.38., a considerable amount of existing material would be rendered scrap if the modified water pump were standardised at the 101st chassis in 'B' Series. In addition it would be necessary to re-commence manufacture of various details including bushes, Rotor and shaft, whilst alterations to patterns, dies, and jigs would also be required. In view of the dislocation that will be created in Production Programme by the change at this stage, it is proposed that the new pump be introduced at 1st chassis in 'C' Series. RHC.{R. H.
