LONDON, S.W.1.

FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. B. RUSHTON.

Dear Sir,

We thank you for the loan of the 647 GR.{George Ratcliffe} Delco Vacuumatic distributor, and the SM 1009 i. distributor.

We have now examined these and will return them to you under separate cover. Do you supply the SM 1009 i. type with vacuumatic control and Octane adjuster? If you do, will you be kind enough to supply us with details, so that we may pass an order through for three units.

Can we fit vacuumatic units and Octane adjuster on our existing B60 and B80 Delco Distributors? We would like to include this feature on our experimental engines. We have decided to fit the two lever type of distributor on the six and eight cylinder engines.

Yours faithfully,
for Rolls Royce ltd.,
