LUCAS WINDSCREEN WIPER.

We thank you for your PN{Mr Northey}6/WT26.1.32 dealing with the speed of Lucas windscreen wipers. We have replied to Lucas's letter and requested them to consider further modifications of these windscreen wipers with a view to their working at higher speeds and having a better reserve of power to deal with high wind pressures at high speeds.

We have requested them to prepare such a wiper in readiness for the next 10,000 mile test which it is proposed to carry out on P.2, chassis 19-EX.
