(36) Smith will see if he can use 19-G-IV for a test of separating the gearbox and engine and producing chunking. [Handwritten X mark] (37) Leslie should follow up the possibility of getting an axle control on the 20/25 at the front by means of a radius rod underneath the spring, similar to that fitted to the Siddeley special. I am not sure that the scheme does not put up the rating of the springs. This should be investigated. [Handwritten check mark] Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
