Design considerations and modifications for a vehicle's seating, clutch, body, radiator, and tank.

a more comfortable feeling, because they were higher up the foot (more power).
(5) SEATING. The driver's seat is O.K. with packing which we modified by lowering until 9" under the steering wheel. 8" is insufficient when the drive is wearing a winter coat.
The driving space and the seating accommodation is quite satisfactory for a man up to 6' high - giants cannot be catered for in this chassis as a 6 seater. (Seating now comfortable and excellent except for luxurious owner driver.)
(6) CLUTCH PEDAL. The pressure required is great because ferodo does not give the coefficient friction stated by the Ferodo Co. We are altering the leverage so as to reduce this to about 50% to 60% at present required.
(7) BODY SPACE. Agreed that the body is not too large and suggest no alterations to limits. Messrs. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} have suggested a slight modification to the back of the driver's seat which does not reduce the room inside the body and yet provides a more comfortable back to the front seat,(avoiding hard rail and sloping slightly.)
(8) HIGHER RADIATOR. It is universally thought that the extra height is an advantage in appearance, and for the fan and pipe connections, and louvres, it is much better.
(9) TANK. We regret from an appearance point of view the extra depth of radiator top tank now suggested by us but it is wanted from for connections at the back and for carrying extra water and for room for separating steam from the water. We consider the higher radiator and narrower radiator looks less like the 40/50 but it is possible that a modified
