Lower front mounting
Placed under spring, ear points down in front of axle, stud points toward center of car.
Upper front mounting
Bolted to under flange of frame in position to give distance between upper and lower mounting studs of 7 - 7 1/2". Also in a position so that when springs are fully compressed Oil Spring body flange will not strike lamp bracket nut or stem.
