X1166 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/KW. 16th January, 1936. Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd., Cricklewood Works, LONDON, N.W.2. For the attention of Mr. Nichols. Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of January 13th. It will be convenient for your representative to fit the new bracket on the dummy chassis any time to suit yourselves. We are shortly afterwards proposing to transfer these jacks to a demonstration car which is running about, and presumably your representative would like to effect the changeover himself. We are only suggesting fitting the new bracket between now and then in order to avoid any hold up when the Trials car is actually in for modification, as the time available will be very limited. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
