dimensions, and a request for an approximate cost. One lot could be sent to Woodheads for durability tests, one pair could be put on a car for squeak tests. I would not expect the material to be more than 20% more than Enaldite, the price of which was, I think, 2/3 a spring. There would be no need to use the Ferodo stuff in all leaves. The interleaving is the stumbling block which prevents us from using the springs which cost 24/6 against 56/- so that an increase of price of 6d might not to prevent test. (I am getting rather rusty in my cost figures or may be slightly out but the general picture is right) If the Ferodo price is higher than I anticipate then we may have to splice their tips to paper centre pieces with non-soluble glue.
