Perhaps Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} has never been in the unhappy position of having to change a wheel on a dark wet night with a jack which will not do its job; we should hate to think that he would be the person to whom the unflattering remarks ( which necessarily follow such an event) would be addressed.

We are not prepared to give our agreement to the adoption of any jack which does not comply very nearly to what we say is necessary, i.e. we must not be in a worse position than we are at present with the Dunlop Super D.L. jack which has the following dimensions.

Minimum height 6.3"
Mechanical lift. 7.025"
Extension 3.0"
Max. extended height 16.325".

This has to be used under the front road springs owing to its minimum height.
