Herewith a revised specification of this chassis, which is at present running in France - ENGINE. (1) Improved oil filtering. * (2) Increased oil circulation, larger oil pump. * (3) Improved crankshaft damper. (4) Turbulent head with lips removed and ignition governor to suit. (5) Improved piston rings to take care of increased oil supply. We are following out with 'L' shaped rings to be fitted in place of the standard middle ring. * (6) 11" Borg & Beck clutch with Ph.III type material. * (7) Improved exhaust valves of stellited low expansion material. * (8) Cantilever throttle controls. (9) Small carburetters and induction pipe, to improve idling. * (10) Hall's metal bearings of higher Brinell. 7% tin alloy. approved * (11) Modified cylinder head water circulation. * (12) Close clearance inlet valves. * | ||
