Comfort, manoeuvrability, silence, smoothness, price, performance, appearance, Elapsed time before available.

Six. A good compromise. Weak on smoothness, strong on price, Available.

V.8. Excels for comfort and manoeuvrability. Poor for smoothness, appearance questionable. The most backward of all from development knowledge available.

Straight 8. Poor for comfort and manoeuvrability. Good for smoothness, silence and price. Design work completed, development work should not be as difficult as the V.8.

V.{VIENNA} 12-cylinder. From the technical considerations, the best unit. Cost the major objection. The americans have overcome this. Development has been done on Ph. III.
