NOTES ON TALK WITH RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ABOUT WORK TO BE DONE ON EXPERIMENTAL CARS.

11.B.V.
This should be as complete a motor car as possible before it goes to Park Wards.

PAULIN CAR.
The first job on this car is to find some means at Brooklands of reducing the oil temperature. Later it will be fitted with the engine now on the test bed, for dynamo-meter and Brooklands figures.

SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'S CAR.
This arrives to-day from London for various modifications. Performance figures must be taken before any changes are made. The car will then have fitted to it in the Test Department, parts similar to those on 25.G. engine, a new exhaust system and Schatz bearings in the gearbox. Later when Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} takes delivery of his new car these parts will be transferred to it.

29.G.VI.
Oil temperature comparisons are required with the standard car, also the effect of tin and aluminium bottom halves on the oil temperature. Oil consumption tests are required and also information from changes in the induction system as regards slow running.

2.B.50.
The most important thing on this car is to make it ride and handle well. Skid pan figures to be obtained if possible.

HUMBER & BUICK.
These cars can go to Brooklands for per-formance tests.
