84050. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}6/KT.22.4.31. NEW TYPE DUNLOP SILENT TREAD. We have tried these tyres and find them to be very good for silence at all speeds. There is no transmission noise from the tyres at slow speeds on the overrun and they are less inclined to cause booms. We have not tried them on wet roads as yet for skidding, but they give a good impression, cornering and braking etc. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
