L O N D O N. N.W.2.

Attention of Mr.Arrowsmith.

Dear Sirs,

With regard to the rev. counter which you had kindly arranged to "speed up" for us, Mr. Whyman, on his way down to London, found that it was quite suitable for the car in question, and being pushed for time, had not the opportunity to call and inform you. Please accept our apology.

With reference to our recent conversation regarding electrical rev-counters, we would like one to run at .7916 engine speed and one to run at ½ engine speed, as soon as possible. If you think that a magnetic type would work efficiently with a 20 ft. flexible drive, please send one of these along calibrated for ½ engine speed at the same time, so that we can test it. The maximum engine speed will be 2,500.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED,
