7th. June, 1939.

The Light Production Co.Ltd.,
60/66 Rochester Row,
LONDON.S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr. Brooks.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter dated 2nd. June concerning outstanding experimental pistons.

We are not quite in agreement re delivery of some of these pistons.

EW.2115. We ordered 20. In your letter above, you say balance of 13 to be supplied. Actually the 13 (now received) are the first we have had of this type. There are therefore 7 outstanding still.

EW.2121. We ordered 20. and have so far had 6. There are therefore 14 outstanding.

Hoping you will be able to confirm this correction.

We are rather short of spare rings so will you please supply 24 off each of the following :-

PR.656.
PR.657.
PR.1179.

An official order will follow.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
