Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd.
Well St.{Capt. P. R. Strong},
Birmingham.

Dear Sirs,

We are disappointed that we have heard nothing from you about the two head lamps concerning which we have been in telephonic communication with you on one or two occasions during the last few days, and have twice received promises from you to let us know as soon as possible what you could do in the matter.

You will remember that we returned to you, two old type P.100 lamps with some complaints of defect, as a result of that you sent us along two up-to-date P.100 lamps but these were not of the type required because we do not want lamps with two bulbs, but lamps similar to the ones returned but without the defects complained of.

We should be very pleased if you could send us suitable lamps immediately on receipt of this letter, and we will take immediate steps to return the pair of lamps you have already sent us.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
