assist the centrifugal action to close the throttle earlier in case the engine is running away without a load ?

After making these criticisms we should be glad to know whether we are to go on with the work exactly as instructed, or await further designs, or prepare modification from their designs.

This matter would require a great deal of tact to deal with it, or we shall get into trouble with the authorities. Perhaps it might be necessary for me to see those responsible for the designs.

A drawing is attached to Mr. Wormald's copy (L.eC.1306) showing the amount of overhang of the flywheel, universal joint, and fan rotor in the design proposed by the War Office.

We also return herewith the blue prints which were attached to memo WORA/M21/10/20.
