To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X8300 + Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG19.10.26. R.R. of America Inc. - Clutch. X8300 X4244 Replying to BJ3/E18.10.26. When we introduced the lightened clutch on the Phantom cars at Derby, no scrap was made, and the existing material was used up. I have consulted Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} (BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} is away) and we see no reason why R-R Inc. should not, in the same way, use up their existing material before changing to the new lightened clutch. As regards the hydraulic shock absorbers. We have arranged that a pair shall be despatched. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
