Mr. Skinner,
The S.U. Company,
East Works,
Bordesley Green Rd,
Adderley Park,
Birmingham.

Dear Mr. Skinner,

We have got very excellent results from the small carburetters you gave us and we have passed you an order for two.

You sent a number of spare needles, but in order to get exactly what we wanted we had to plate some that we had. As it is never very satisfactory to plate these needles we wonder whether you could reproduce them properly. We send you the two we have made and what we want is the average of them. We should like to have the measurements as taken by your methods so that we shall have a permanent record of the best needles for the job. had

We have/a supercharger running with your 1 3/8" carburetter but only for a brief time as the blower had the undesirable characteristic of being inefficient and therefore unduly heating up the mixture. The makers are now producing what we want and when I have it going again I will let you know in case you are sufficiently interested to come and have a look at it. What I think will be more fun will be to try the car on the road with the blower on it, which should not be a great way off.
