Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Whitehead.

With reference to the T.A.B. Chassis Lubricating System, of which a sample outfit was sent you on March 4th, we shall be glad to hear whether you have tested the apparatus and if it meets with your approval.

We have just recently improved the design of the nipples used with the system, and have also introduced a leather washer inside the sleeve of the coupling, so as to ensure an absolutely grease tight joint which will stand any pressure applied by the Grease Pump.

We are also introducing a new system of filling the Grease Gun by means of special grease Cartridges which enable the Gun to be filled with the greatest ease, thus entirely overcoming an otherwise messy operation, and for use with the grease Cartridges, we have designed a rather simpler type of Grease Gun, and we are accordingly arranging to send you a sample Outfit of the latest improved type for your inspection.

We shall be glad, therefore, if you will kindly return the first Outfit we sent you, and we ask you to reserve your comments and base your decision on the new Outfit, which we feel quite sure will meet with your approval and will withstand any test you put to it.

We have now made arrangements to manufacture the latest type of Outfit, which we have now absolutely standardised, in large quantities, and for your information we have pleasure in quoting you as follows, based on the

Contd.
