We send herewith Lec. 2069., shewing improvements for increasing the wearing capacity of the India gearbox servo drive worm and wheel which are - (1) Using a formed worm wheel which has also been made wider and also (2) a longer worm. (3) A method of supplying more oil to the worm and wheel by arranging a number of webs all draining oil on to worm wheel teeth. Incidentally we have improved the drilling and reaming of large wheel and worm for taper pins by allowing the drill and reamer to come right through. AJS. | ||
