Y4094 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KT. April 26th 1933. The Adamant Engineering Co, Ltd, Dallow Road, Luton. For the attention of Comndr. Matravers. Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter of the 25th inst. We have been running your steering with the tempered pads, on one of our cars. We have not done any accurate measurements of this steering, but our general impression is that it is not as efficient as with the glass hard pads. We should be glad to know if our experience confirms your own figures. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
