Referring to your memo. BY14/G14.10.27., the only item that calls for special comment seems to be No.6. - new single downtake pipe and exhaust system. There is no design in existance that we know of to suit the aluminium head, which has somewhat different piping to the standard, insofar that the attachment is by lugs instead of dogs, and the induction pipe is further out from the cyl.

We think the present double pipes should be used on these three chassis; if however you have in hand a design for the single downtake we should like to know about it as this is a point that should be gone into sooner or later.

With regard to item No.7 - new slipper flywheel - this should be made to the reduced dia. shewn on LeC.2472.
