Dear Sirs,
Ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ACL.1/MJ.
In reply to your letter of the 17th, we make a vertical twin carburetter with a bore of 36 m.m.
This carburetter does not incorporate a pump but we are studying the question of fitting one where necessary.
The carburetter however, is of an improved design which gives extremely rapid acceleration and at the same time perfect snap opening from practically a standstill.
We have another twin carburetter of 36 m.m. bore which is fitted with an accelerating pump and therefore we propose to send you samples of both of these carburetters in the course of the next few days.
We have no catalogues or descriptive literature of these carburetters yet but we think you will be able to see from the samples just what they are like, and of course one of our representatives will be very pleased to come up to Derby to discuss the matter further with you.
