Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to our letter of the 11th ultimo, we shall be sending to you during the early part of next week two 6-HZD9-S batteries as mentioned in paragraph 2, one 6-HZD11-S battery as mentioned in paragraph 3, and two 6-HZD13-S batteries as mentioned in paragraph 4.

The one which has been fitted with copper cored inter-cell connectors has two suffix letters, viz. SC, instead of the single suffix letter S which normally denotes the layout.

We cannot trace having received the 6-HZD9-S battery which only gave 35 ampere hours at the 20 hour rate, and we should like you to arrange to return this to us immediately, so that we can have it fitted with new design of wood separator and run some capacity tests before returning it to you.

C.A.P
J.J.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.
