Re Northcliffe & Williamson Ignition Switch. X.1413

26.1.15.

Mr Matthews.

We informed you on 22/1/15 that the special insulated segments were due for return to the Works on January 16th, and you replied that you had not yet received them on the 22nd. We consequently took the matter up again with the Order Office who informed us that the parts were received by the Stores on the day stated but that no one has made any application at the Stores for them.

We therefore do not know why you should have returned our memo without apparently having made any enquiry as to whether the parts had been received and wasting our own time and that of the Order Office.

Will you please look this matter up at once as the standardisation of the 6 volt Coil is awaiting the completion of this Switch and the experiment is therefore urgent.

Mcr.
