Sheet (2) EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}4/H29.1.29. (2) (b) When "ironing" the cotton duck in position, the springs should be made all but choc-o-bloc. When testing the"loading" it may be found that under this condition it gives the specified load. It is essential, however, that the springs should be turned back until the loading shows signs of failing when the spring should be locked. After locking, the loading should again be checked to make sure that the locking has not altered the setting. The reason for the above is that the loading with the fabric well soaked with oil may be different when the fabric is in its normal running state. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
