RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c - Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. WST 86117 BY/RD3/W.20.2.34. 20/25 H.P. and Bentley 10,000 Miles Test Cars. Wiring, Section 7360. Owing to the extensive use of rubber for engine mountings it is thought that a definite earth connection between the engine and the frame is desirable ; therefore, will you please arrange to fit the above chassis with a direct earth connector, as shown on Drawing D.54428. This piece is made up of standard starter motor cable with existing production cable eyes. We should then like tests to be made with and without this earth to determine its usefulness. Prints of D.54428 attached hereto. BY/RD. | ||
