Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 3rd inst., and we are pleased to learn that the 1 dozen C9. Plugs have so far given you good results on test. We understand from our telephone conversation to-day that an order is in the post for 6 dozen Model C9's, and as requested we are despatching these per passenger train to-day. [Handwritten note above line: 3 doz & 3 doz to-morrow]. We beg to assure you that these 6 dozen are identical to the original dozen supplied to you. We should like to take this opportunity of stating that this Model C9. Plug is now our standard plug for manufacturers, and is everywhere giving very satisfactory results.
