Modifications to the clutch, carburetter, and brakes for experimental cars.

with the present clutch. Recent tests have shown that we can overcome some of the faults with the present clutch by adding extra rivets, this is being done at once. 25-EX will go away with the new type clutch if the modifications now being tested make it satisfactory.

CARBURETTER.
The complaint with the carburetter on 24-EX was that at 3000 R.P.M. we lost 6 to 7 HP. We are now testing a modified scheme which reduces the loss to approx. 2 HP. but has made it more noisy. We have released 50 sets of the present carburetter to enable production to carry on until tests are completed. We hope to have the latest carburetter fitted to 25-EX.

BRAKES
We propose fitting 'Hancock' type of front brake shoes to 25-EX car.
