Messrs. Lodge Plugs Ltd.,
Rugby.

For the attention of Mr. Bernard Hopps.

Dear Mr. Hopps,

We have run your 14 mm. plugs Type H.14.
Actually, in the engine they seemed to have very little more resistance to pre-ignition than the Standard C.3 plugs which you are at present supplying.

We are returning to you under separate cover three of these plugs which, after being run at full throttle, gave trouble with cutting out when the engine was slowed down.

We put a set of your A.15. 14 mm. Aero Plugs in this unit and found they were perfectly alright for test bed work. The slow running was perhaps slightly inferior to the S.14's. We shall now try both of these plugs on the road and shall possibly find that the H.14 is hot enough for the job under these conditions.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
