We have pleasure in enclosing two advance copies of the second edition of our catalogue dealing with unspillable accumulators for engine starting, wireless, and lighting on aircraft, the first edition now being exhausted. Much of the detail is as in the previous edition, but the following battery or catalogue modifications are now dealt with:- 1. Improved Battery Holding-down Device. The holding-down rods have been made collapsible so that they can be folded down should the battery at any time be removed. (See pages 6 & 7). 2. Acid Level Indicator. A special unbreakable acid level tube is supplied with each battery fitted with a composition container, enabling the level of the electrolyte to be quickly and accurately determined. (See page 7). 3. Air Ministry design Accumulators. Prices and dimensions of the two ranges of Air Ministry design accumulators are shewn. (See page 8). We are the largest suppliers of Aircraft accumulators in this country, and have available a range covering every possible need. The present types listed in our catalogue have been specially built for use in civil aircraft, and are all approved by the Air Ministry in Air Publication 1208, and Amendment List No. 39. We should appreciate an opportunity of discussing your particular requirements, when one of our principals could also quote you special discounts as aircraft manufacturers. Yours faithfully, PETO & RADFORD. ENC: | ||
