Your Ref: RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GR{George Ratcliffe}9/JH For attention of Mr. Ratcliffe Dear Sirs, EEC.42 Carburetter Further to our letter of yesterday's date, we have pleasure in enclosing herewith blue prints of our drawings L.1356, L.1357 and L.1358, covering the Needle Valve, Needle Valve Seating and the complete assembly respectively, all for the .140" size. We shall be glad if you will let us know as quickly as possible that these have your approval, upon receipt of which information we shall put the job in hand, and in the meantime we shall be glad if we may be favoured with your reply to our letter of the 8th instant regarding the stock which are being made surplus by the introduction of this new needle valve seating assembly. We also enclose a sample .140" assembly as used on the Packard car, the part number of which assembly is B.18928. Our drawings are made identical with this piece, and we shall therefore be glad if you will kindly test out the sample sent you and any comment you may have to make will be appreciated at the same time as you answer the first part of this letter.
