Stone Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.12/MA. 14th May, 1934. Mr.G.R.N.Minchin, Messrs.Peto & Radford Co.Ltd., Dagenham Dock, ESSEX. Dear Mr.Minchin, We have been investigating the claims of "Acculight" which is a substituted electrolyte for sulphuric acid. The claims made by these people are truly fantastic but as they seem prepared to substantiate all their statement by actual tests carried out with accredited concerns, we agreed to take a sample of this electrolyte from them and have been carrying out tests with the same. If you care to discuss this matter with us further or send a representative to have a talk with us regarding the results of our tests we should be glad to arrange some suitable date accordingly, preferably We understand this electrolyte is extremely difficult to analyse but we have put our Chemical Laboratory on their mettle and a sample is now in process of analysis and possibly by the time you visit us we shall be able to let you know the results of the same. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
