SHOCK DAMPERS.

With reference to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Th12/MH.{M. Huckerby}29.6.34, there is no necessity to despatch 40/50 HP. Chassis before this modification is effected.

We are in a position to carry out the alteration, and if you will arrange to send the Shock Dampers to the Works Dept. responsible, these can be converted and returned within say 6 hours.

In regard to cars at Coachbuilders, we would recommend that if it is intended to change these over, we supply Pistons already grooved, and that JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} with the help of Cricklewood, arrange to reduce the diameter of the Valves.
